Zomato followed Swiggy in publishing its 2022 annual report on its app. And what’s this? In this app, the most popular foods of the year included biryani at the top. The second most popular dish on Zomato in 2022, after biryani, was pizza. This year, pizza aficionados made sure that 139 orders were delivered every minute.
The top customer of Zomato, who reportedly made 3,330 meal orders using the app this year, was also named in the list. According to estimates, he places an average of 9 food orders every day. In its annual study on how Indians ordered food this year, Zomato named Ankur “The nation’s biggest foodie.” Not only that, but Zomato also identified the client who used discounts to save thousands of dollars. In one year, a Mumbai user of Zomato was able to save Rs 2.43 lakh on all meal orders.
