Meerut Merchant Navy Officer’s Murder: Accused’s Parents Disown Daughter, Call Victim ‘a Good Man’

Meerut police have recovered the body of merchant navy officer Saurabh and sent it for post-mortem, while both accused are in custody as investigations continue. In a shocking development, the parents of Muskaan Rastogi, the prime accused in the murder case, have condemned their daughter’s alleged crime and demanded the strictest punishment for her.

Muskaan’s parents, Pramod and Kavita Rastogi, expressed their outrage over the incident and called their daughter “unfit for society.” They have urged authorities to sentence her and the co-accused to death.

“My daughter killed her husband. She is a danger to society and should be hanged till death. If possible, the execution should be broadcast live as a warning to others,” Muskaan’s father told ANI.

Echoing similar sentiments, Muskaan’s mother described her son-in-law, Saurabh, as a good man who did not deserve such a fate. “We want justice for Saurabh. Muskaan should be given the death penalty,” she stated.

The case has sparked widespread attention, especially given the strong reaction from the accused’s own family, as police continue their probe into the circumstances surrounding the murder.
