As the election season heats up and more parties release their manifestos, I came across the CPIM manifesto, which put the left-leaning party in a difficult position. They called for scrapping the CAA, reverting to the contentious Article 370 and Article 35A of the Constitution, and leaving coalitions like QUAD (Quadrilateral Security Dialogue). The CPIM has stated in its manifesto that it will limit foreign direct investment (FDI) and to undo the legistation which is (UAPA) and (NSA)

 

It’s getting harder and harder to comprehend the kind of future we’re envisioning when we make such enormous promises—a future of chaos and destruction, a future in which our paradise-like surroundings are stolen from us, or a future in which we hope to become an important force on the world stage without forming any kind of alliance, which will undoubtedly work against us.

 

Some individuals find great satisfaction in these thought-provoking ideas since they have been indoctrinated with this specific ideology, but is there really any practical manner for this? The effects of communist ideology on many nations have been complex and numerous. While some nations under communist rule have faced political persecution and economic hardships.

It’s about how we interpret this, how much we anticipate paying for preveligies, and how we believe this will affect things. I don’t believe that any school of thought that perceives a significant danger to national integrity will have its members accept it. Just keep in mind that if we accept a few faiths and temporary freedom, there will be consequences that you may not have ever imagined.

 

In the end, we might say that we shouldn’t focus solely on the split of ideas and differences, but rather aim for a more practical and sustainable future.
