NCP is prepared to declare its candidature for Maharashtra’s chief executive position at any time

Earlier this week, the NCP leader made it plain that he had not gotten any MLAs’ signatures about the rumours of a partnership with the BJP.Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar stated on Friday that his party is ready to stake a claim to the job of chief minister (CM) of Maharashtra at any time, rather than waiting for the general elections in 2024.Pawar was speaking at a press conference held at the Pune District Cooperative Bank.

To reduce traffic on Ahmednagar Road, the NCP leader suggested that the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) expand the double-decker highway from Wagholi to Shikrapur to Viman Nagar. In order to do this, Pawar agreed to set up a meeting with Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari. Pawar also suggested that the flyover from Shikrapur to Viman Nagar be taken into account when the Maha Metro conducts its metro planning.
