Naveen Patnaik, the chief minister of Odisha, has issued orders to fill open teaching positions at the State’s numerous public high schools. The Odisha Staff Selection Commission has been directed by the Chief Minister to begin the hiring process for 7,540 high school teachers as soon as practicable. All open teaching positions in the state’s 4848 public high schools will be filled once these vacancies have been filled.
Beginning today, candidates will be chosen for TGT (Arts), TGT (PCM & CBZ), Sanskrit, Hindi, Urdu, Telugu, and Physical Education positions. It is important to note that more than 13,000 teacher positions in different government schools were filled during the two selection processes held in 2021–2022.
It’s important to note that, despite the state government’s efforts to reform the state through the 5T projects, a focus on school transformation has been placed in order to give students access to contemporary education. Advanced play equipment, playgrounds, and other amenities are being developed, from computers and the internet to e-libraries. Under 5T, the recruiting campaign has also been accelerated. Vacancies are being filled in a variety of departments quickly and transparently. Although thousands of positions in several departments have been filled in recent years, the hiring process will still go on.
