Orissa High Court Stays Demolition Of Baikuntha Dham Ashram Until Dec 12

The Shree Baikuntha Dham Ashram’s demolition was halted by the Orissa High Court. In order to prevent the Bhubaneswar Development Authorities from acting against the ashram until December 12, the court ordered a temporary stay order. In response to a petition submitted by the Baikuntha Dham Sebashram Trust, the High Court issued its ruling. In its plea, the petitioner said the court that before making this pronouncement, the local authorities had not provided any formal notice about the demolition drive at the ashram.Additionally, the petitioner told the court that the group had also submitted an application to settle government land in its name.

According to reports, the ashram was to be demolished by the BDA authorities earlier in the day when it was discovered that the opulent building had been constructed on government property.

It’s important to remember that the ashram came under fire after a picture of a young kid with his spiritual analyst father Kashinath Mishra, who was portraying him as the Kalki Avatar (incarnation of Lord Vishnu), went viral. Additionally, a number of images of the boy being worshipped at the ashram with a sacred Tulsi at his feet and a flower garland around his neck have gone popular on social media.
