Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan stated that all local languages in the country are now considered national languages under the new National Education Policy, which was designed to prioritise all of them.

“Local languages are as essential as any other language spoken in this country, whether Hindi or English. This is the NEP’s key feature “Pradhan stated this at North East Hill University’s 27th convocation (NEHU).
