Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the Centre and States should work closely to boost the economic growth in India while addressing the Governing Council meeting of Niti Aayog.
PM Modi stated that the private sector should be provided with adequate opportunity to become a part of the government’s Aatmanirbhar Bharat program. He also made a powerful case for abolishing archaic laws and executing it more effortless to do business in India.
For India’s progress, the center and stated should work together and the Government has also to respect and give due representation to the private center for economic progress, Modi added. He further said that the positive acknowledgment to the Union Budget 2021-22 shows that India requires to move forward on the path of development at greater speed. Even the initiatives taken by the government would present an opportunity to everyone to participate in nation-building to its full potential.
PM also talked about the Farm Law by stating that attempts should be made to produce agricultural items like edible oil and decrease their imports. And this can only be done by supervising the farmers and the money being spent on imports can go to the farmer’s account.
PM Modi also highlighted the need for diminishing the compliance burden on people and asked the states to form committees to reduce regulations that are no longer appropriate in the wake of technology.
