Pradeep Kumar Jena, the chief secretary of Odisha, observed the Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) project’s development this morning at Baramunda. The 15.5 acre project that BDA is implementing will shortly be operational. The proposal calls for the construction of a multi-state grand bus terminal with designated pick-up and drop-off areas for taxis and private vehicles, as well as interchange facilities for private buses, OSRTC, and CRUT. The Transport Commissioner for Odisha, the Chairman of the Cum MD OSRTC, the Vice Chairman of the BDA, the Khordha Collector, the DCP for Bhubaneswar, senior members of the BDA and CRUT team, project managers, and representatives of the implementing agency all attended the site inspection.
