The Odisha government has given district collectors “complete power” to guarantee that the AMA Hospital project under the 5T initiative be implemented quickly.
Niranjan Pujari, the minister of health and family welfare, made this claim in a news release on Monday. The District Level Committees (DLCs) of each district have been authorized to select the implementing agencies in accordance with the prescribed transparent procedure for timely completion of the projects, he said. “The collectors are delegated full power for administrative approval in respect of all expenditure under AMA Hospital scheme.
Shalini Pandit, the secretary of health and family welfare, stated that the DLCs will finalize the project and execution mechanisms to guarantee excellent work and on-time completion. The committee would also conduct a field visit and spot check each month to assess the progress. The department sent out the relevant notification on Monday.
