King Charles offered his brother, Prince Andrew, the home that Prince Harry and his wife Megan live in when they are in Britain, but he declined, according to a report in the Sun on Tuesday. The late Queen Elizabeth II gave them Frogmore Cottage as a wedding gift in 2018, and they renovated it for a reported £2.4 million ($2.9 million).
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly “stunned,” according to insiders. After being “evicted” by King Charles III, the couple is reportedly making plans to move their remaining possessions from the royal house to their home in California.
According to Buckingham Palace, it won’t comment on the story. Any such negotiations, according to a royal insider, would be a private family matter. Harry’s office did not respond right away.In his memoir, which was published at the beginning of January, Harry airballed his complaints over the royal family. His shocking claim that his brother William, the Prince of Wales, physically attacked him was one of the revelations in the book. Charles pleaded with them not to let their conflict “make my dying years a misery” in the book.
In their Netflix documentary series Harry & Meghan, the pair made a number of accusations against Buckingham Palace, mostly about the alleged “planting” of unfavourable reports about Meghan in the media.
