Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, has postponed his planned trip to Odisha. The Congress MP’s originally scheduled July 9 visit to the state has been rescheduled for July 11. Das said Rahul Gandhi would be joined by Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, and K.C. Venugopal, the general secretary of the All India Congress Committee (AICC). Senior Congress leaders will take part in a demonstration called “Save Constitution” at Bhubaneswar’s Baramunda Ground. Following a meeting with PCC President Das and other top party leaders at the Congress Bhawan, the event’s preparations have been finalized.
