Sam, who has been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder called Myositis, is reportedly abandoning the Bollywood film Citadel along with Varun Dhawan owing to her health issues, which has sparked rumours that Sam may take a significant vacation from work. PinkVilla reported that insiders close to the actress have refuted the rumours and said that filming will begin on the project in the second half of January 2023.According to the source, as cited by PinkVilla, “Everything that has been said about her being replaced in Citadel is untrue. Beginning in the second half of January, she will start the shoot.”
According to rumours, Sam and Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming movie Kushi is also progressing as planned, and the production team will soon decide on dates for the next schedule. Citadel, a television series originally produced by the Russo Brothers, is being adapted for the Indian market by Raj and DK. The Russo Brothers, Raj, and DK tweeted about the news of the series’ filming, saying, “We are delighted to formally announce that we will be giving you the Indian part of the Citadel universe.
