The family and legal team of arrested actor Sheezan Khan responded to the accusations made by the late actress Tunisha’s mother Vanita Sharma on Monday, claiming they “never forced her to accept Islam.” Falaq and Shafaz Khan and their attorneys refuted Vanita Sharma’s assertions that they were pressuring her to convert to Islam and that she had begun wearing a “hijab” without her will, both of which were made on December 30.The Khans noted that the widely circulated image of Tunisha wearing a “hijab” actually came from the Vasai, India, set of her show “Ali Baba: Dastaan-E-Kabula,” where she (Tunisha) was discovered dead on December 24.
Speaking to the media, the Khan family claimed that Tunisha was being forced to work despite having depression as a result of childhood trauma by Vanita Sharma. “Tunisha had depression as a result of a traumatic childhood experience. Despite the fact that she was uninterested, she was forced to sign for two music videos. She would be living now if her mother had not made her work “Shafaq Khan stated.They added that Vanita had allegedly attempted to strangle her daughter before and that Tunisha’s relationships with her mother were supposedly problematic. On December 24, Tunisha apparently committed suicide on the teleserial sets, and the next day, her co-star and ex-boyfriend Sheezan was arrested for allegedly helping her commit suicide.
