Following an event last year in which Lord Balabhadra fell on the chariot, the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has made the decision to strengthen security measures for the next Rath Yatra. After the charmal is knotted, a senior officer and the guard will examine it to make sure the deities and the chariot are safe. To avoid any accidents, the JTPs and Bhoi servants will work together.
The Rath Yatra ceremonies and rites were accepted during the Chhatisha Niyog gathering, which took place at Bhakta Nivas. The chariot consecration ceremony is set for 9 am on June 27, and Pahandi Bije will follow from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on the same day as the Srigundicha Yatra. Between 12:30 and 1 pm, Srimadanmohan, Sriram, and Srikrishna will get into the chariots. The drawing of chariots will start at 4 pm, while the Chhera Pahanra ceremony will take place between 2:30 and 3:30 pm.
Jagmohan will be worshipped on July 1st, Heera Panchami, when the Mahalakshmi Rath Tala Niti is conducted at 9:30 p.m. A ticket for the darshan of Pahandi when the trinity visits the Snana Mandap costs ₹150 and is available at the homes of large devotees. Special preparations have been made for devotees. To ensure a seamless and secure Rath Yatra celebration, the temple management has specified certain procedures for the Mangalarpan on Sannun Purnima and the Bahuda Pahandi.
