He entered first-class cricket on December 9, 2019, representing Chhattisgarh in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy.In February 2022, the Sunrisers Hyderabad picked him up in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.

He is the son of IPS officer Shailesh Singh. On April 4, 2024, he played a pivotal role in his team Punjab Kings’ victory against Gujarat Titans by scoring an unbeaten 61 runs off just 29 balls.
