He marked his List A debut on December 10, 2015, during the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy. In February 2017, the Delhi Daredevils team acquired him for the 2017 Indian Premier League at a price of 10 lakhs.In December 2018, the Rajasthan Royals secured him in the player auction for the 2019 Indian Premier League. He entered first-class cricket on December 9, 2019, representing Chhattisgarh in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy.In February 2022, the Sunrisers Hyderabad picked him up in the auction for the 2022 Indian Premier League tournament.
In November 2023, he achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first Indian List A cricketer to both score 150 runs and take five wickets in a single match against Manipur, during the 2023–24 Vijay Hazare Trophy.In December 2023, he was purchased by the Punjab Kings team for the 2024 Indian Premier League for 20 lakhs. He is the son of IPS officer Shailesh Singh. On April 4, 2024, he played a pivotal role in his team Punjab Kings’ victory against Gujarat Titans by scoring an unbeaten 61 runs off just 29 balls.
