1. What is your preferred medium or style of art, and why?
Watercolour, being the most captivating and popular medium, is my preferred choice as it presents endless intrigue for artists. The joy of learning and mastering this medium persists throughout their artistic journey. An artist’s  stinctive style becomes their hallmark, providing them with an independent and recognizable identity that sets them apart in the vibrant world of art.

2. Are there any specific themes or subjects that consistently inspire your artwork?

The beauty of nature serves as a constant source of inspiration and challenge for artists. As the saying goes, all art is an imitation of nature, reflecting the awe-inspiring elements of the natural world. Nature’s wonders push artists to explore their creativity, capturing its essence through various mediums and styles, resulting in a harmonious blend of human expression and the splendor of the environment.

3. What role does art play in your life?
My life revolves around art, and its absence would leave a void I cannot bear. Art is the very essence of my being, an inseparable part of my existence. It empowers me to express my emotions, thoughts, and experiences in ways that words alone cannot convey. Through art, I find purpose, joy, and a profound connection to the world around me.

4. Are there any significant challenges you have faced as an artist, and how did you overcome them?
Life’s journey is a constant struggle, with challenges awaiting each individual. Enduring and overcoming these obstacles is a shared experience for everyone. Along the path, we encounter both success and adversity, intertwined like the threads of existence. Embracing both aspects of life enables personal growth and resilience. The ebb and flow of triumphs and trials shape us into the individuals we become.

5.Have you had any notable exhibitions, shows, or collaborations? Could you share some highlights from those experiences?
Having taken part in numerous state-level and national-level exhibitions, seminars, workshops, and conferences, my work garnered immense appreciation, akin to receiving an award. These experiences enrich my learning journey, reinforcing my belief in continuous education throughout life’s journey. Embracing the school of life, I perceive each opportunity as a chance to grow, evolve, and contribute to the ever-evolving realm of art.

6. What inspired you to open an art school?
I never received any formal art training; my passion for art since childhood went unrecognized in a time when art had limited prospects. Despite this, the 50 marks I scored in drawing at school kept my artistic flame alive, leading me to achieve something significant today. As circumstances evolved, I co-founded an art school with my friends Mr. Sanjaya Mishra and Mr. Sanjaya Sahu. Interestingly, I learned from my students as much as I taught them, earning the title of my students being my teachers. I find tremendous inspiration and encouragement from the great gurus Sri Bholanath Nayak, Padmanava Mishra, Pratima Purohit, and Gopal Sahu who have been instrumental in motivating me.

7. How do you assess the progress and growth of your students?
My work revolves around nurturing the hidden artistic talents in every child, firmly convinced that each one possesses an inherent creative inclination. While some may display inborn talent, others can cultivate and develop their artistic abilities over time. My mission is to unlock and foster the artistic potential within each young mind, helping them flourish and express themselves through art.

8. Do you offer any opportunities for students to exhibit their work or participate in art competitions?
Beyond imparting knowledge, we offer children a platform to exhibit their talents, paving the way for their future presence in the art world. Our mission is to cultivate creativity, fostering a sense of fulfillment and self-expression. By empowering young minds to create and explore, we instill confidence, igniting a passion that will shape their individual journey in the art field, carving a space uniquely their own.

9. What are your future plans or goals for your art school?
My life is devoted to art, its constant contemplation fueling my existence. I immerse myself in diverse art endeavors, particularly fostering children’s interests and development. My aim is to pave the way for their future success in the art field, instilling a mindset that recognizes art as a viable career choice. My focus extends to offering scholarships and fellowships, conducting art research, and organizing exhibitions, workshops, and seminars, all geared towards empowering children to believe in their artistic potential.

10. What is your advice to the young artist?
Instilling respect for art in the minds of the youth is paramount, for only artists can perceive and envisage a beautiful world through their creative lens. My heartfelt aspiration lies in fostering a generation that values art’s transformative power. By nurturing this appreciation, we unlock a realm of boundless possibilities, where the imagination flourishes, inspiring a brighter, more harmonious future for all.
