Virat Kohli is all ready to go to South Africa for three-match test series where he will be the captain. There was a lot of controversy and speculation that Virat won’t be available for 3 ODI match series against the same nation played just after the test series for personal reasons. However, he has rubbished the rumors and will now feature in the 3 ODI series as well.

Kohli also said that he came to know of Rohit Sharma replacing him as ODI captain just one-and-a-half hours before the Test series squad for South Africa was announced. “I was contacted one-and-a-half hours before selection for Tests. The chief selector discussed the Test with me. Before the call ended I was told that the 5 selectors have decided that I won’t be ODI captain anymore. There was no prior communication about this,” Kohli said in the press conference.
The statement certainly shows all is not good between BCCI and Virat. Hope they resolve their issue quickly and Team India sees no harm.
