Woman Driver pulled out of the car and slapped in public for honking in traffic

In a frightening incident, a guy in Gurugram is accused of beating a woman while honking excessively during a traffic congestion. The police say that on Wednesday morning, a road rage incident took place at MDI chowk. In her complaint, the woman said that the defendant pulled up in front of her car at MDI chowk after passing it, pulled her out, and slapped her repeatedly. The woman, who works for a financial services company, stated in her complaint that “he also threatened to murder me and claimed that he will return to my home and beat me again.”The woman claimed that the man departed the area as people began to assemble, adding that she had suffered injuries to her left eye and nose and had been taken to a hospital. At sector 18 police station on Wednesday night, a FIR was filed against the unidentified man under sections 323 (causing harm), 506 (criminal intimidation), and 509 (insulting a woman’s modesty) of the Indian Penal Code, according to the police. According to SHO inspector Haresh Kumar, efforts are being made to identify the suspect using CCTV video.
