The entertainment tax for the film Zwigato has been waived by the Odisha government. According to a formal press statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) today, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has accepted a proposal to that effect. Famous actors Kapil Sharma and Sahana Goswami play the major roles in Nandita Das’ film, which also stars other notable actors.
The movie’s plot explores the struggles of a food delivery boy’s life. The entirety of the Bollywood film Zwigato was filmed in Bhubaneswar. It is important to note that the state government is actively marketing Odisha as a location for movie shootings. This will increase tourism potential and give our bright young people job chances.
The Chief Minister has praised Nandita Das’ efforts to market Odisha as a location for commercial filming.
