Several celebrities in politics, entertainment, and sports were pleasantly delighted to see these back on their Twitter accounts on Sunday, days after losing the all legacy verified blue ticks. Twitter has reportedly begun returning blue ticks to those who have more over 1 million followers. Even if some or all of them hadn’t paid for subscriptions, the activity was nonetheless carried out. Without having to pay for it, blue checkmarks are now shown next to the names of Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt.
There are several famous people who have already registered to Twitter Blue, like Amitabh Bachchan, Jr. NTR, SS Rajamouli, and Kangana Ranaut, however it is unknown if their verified status will continue when their membership expires.
The blue tick was a sign of verification offered by Twitter prior to Elon Musk purchasing the company.
