Three affordable housing projects for economically disadvantaged sections (EWS) were launched today by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, providing pucca houses in the Capital city to as many as 1,722 beneficiaries. These projects are situated in Subudhipur, Budha Vihar, and Satya Nagar Shantipalli. The beneficiaries received the keys to their new homes from the Chief Minister following the project’s inauguration.The construction of each of these projects was handled by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA).
Patnaik stated at the time that slum inhabitants are crucial to the growth of the city. He declared that he is pleased to give impoverished slum dwellers pucca houses. During his visit to Buddha Vihar, which is close to Chandrasekhar, the Chief Minister officially opened a five-story affordable housing project on 12 acres of land as part of the urban “Housing for All” program. Up to 820 houses have been finished and are being distributed to the recipients.
The construction of 2600 homes is intended for those in the economically disadvantaged group.
