Mattoo was found in possession of a weapon, a magazine, and a stolen car, according to the police.Javed Mattoo, a wanted terrorist connected to the terrorist group Hizbul Mujahideen, was apprehended by the Delhi Police Special Cell on Thursday in the nation’s capital. According to the police, Mattoo was taken into custody following the start of a search for him by a team from the National Investigation Agency (NIA).”Today, ₹10 lakh was utilised to apprehend Javed Mattoo, an A++ category terrorist, with the cooperation of the Delhi Police Special Cell and federal agencies.We will take additional action against him after placing him under police custody on remand, stated Delhi Police Special Commissioner HGS Dhaliwal.
