Today, at the Skill Development Institute (SDI) in Bhubaneswar, Minister of Union Education, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan essentially opened two Centers of Excellence (CoE): electronics and media & entertainment. It opens up avenues for the Yuva Peedhi to work in well-known companies by giving them employability and futuristic abilities.
“The skilling initiatives and partnerships will prepare our population for 21st century job markets, help them thrive as innovators and entrepreneurs, and also contribute to driving economic growth,” he added, addressing the potential audience at Kaushal Bhawan, New Delhi. the introduction of numerous skill-building programs aimed at accelerating the growth of our skill ecosystem, preparing Yuva Shakti for the workforce of the future, and delivering on Modi’s promise to provide all people with demand-driven skills.
He went on to say that Odisha’s efforts to develop its workforce will be strengthened by the opening of centers of excellence for HVAC and Media & Entertainment at SDI Bhubaneswar. With the help of these COEs, young people will gain useful skills, improve their standard of living, and have the opportunity to become entrepreneurs if they so want. He praised all the participants for their collaboration in developing cutting-edge tools to support the agenda for skilling, reskilling, and upskilling.
