After summer break, schools throughout Odisha will return on June 17. All schools have been informed of this by the School and Mass Education Department, which has also instructed them to start preparing for the reopening of classes.
The notice stipulates that prior to the schools reopening, all classrooms and restrooms must be cleaned. Additionally, it guarantees that supplies for midday meals and drinking water are prepared in advance. Before classes resume, teachers and assistants are expected to report for duty.
It is important to note that because of the extreme weather conditions throughout the state, the state government decided to close the schools for summer vacation on April 25 rather than the originally planned date.
