CM Majhi To Distribute Appointment Letters To 826 PGT Teachers On June 6

According to School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, who reaffirmed the government’s commitment to filling teacher shortages throughout Odisha, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi would deliver appointment letters to 826 Post Graduate Trained (PGT) teachers on June 6.

“As soon as the new government assumed office, nearly 16,000 junior teachers were appointed,” Gond stated. “Following that, appointment letters were issued to an additional 2,000 candidates. The process is ongoing and reflects our dedication to filling all existing vacancies in the teaching cadre.”

He went on to say that the state administration is paying close attention to fixing any concerns that may arise throughout the recruitment process in addition to recruiting. The minister promised, “We are actively listening to concerns and will take appropriate steps to address them.”
