The Huge App, which promised lucrative returns to investors, allegedly duped thousands of people, including hundreds of women and youth from the Balikuda area. The app’s offers, such as investing Rs 5,500 to get Rs 200 per day or investing Rs 16,500 to get Rs 615 per day, attracted many. Additionally, the app incentivised users to recruit more people under their wing, promising higher earnings. To lure more investors, the company even gave away coolers and refrigerators as gifts.
