In order to discuss preparations for the statewide “Subhadra Shakti Samavesh” program, which is set to take place throughout the state from June 21 to June 30, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida convened a virtual review meeting with field-level officials from every district on Tuesday. On the final day of the Raja festival, the gathering took place at Mission Shakti Bhawan in Bhubaneswar.
“Subhadra Shakti Samavesh” will be held in every Odisha Gram Panchayat as part of the campaign. The program’s goal is to raise general knowledge of women’s livelihood options and empowerment. Additionally, it will educate members of Self-Help Groups (SHGs) on a variety of government initiatives, financial inclusion, skill development, and market connections. It will also promote the establishment of more “Lakhpati Didis” and “Mahalakhpati Didis.”
The Deputy Chief Minister instructed staff to finish all required preparations during the review to guarantee the program’s effective and seamless execution across districts. Later, in the Mission Shakti Bhawan conference hall, the Minister presided over an engagement event with the Community Support Staff (CSS) of Mission Shakti. Participating in the program were over 300 Community Support Staff members from all 30 districts.
The Deputy Chief Minister greeted everyone on the occasion of the Raja festival and stated that the success of Mission Shakti has been fueled by the commitment, diligence, and effectiveness of the Community Support Staff. She stated that their ongoing efforts have contributed to the successful execution of several government initiatives at the local level.
