As per the reports, the new temple is constructed just next to the Guru Nanak Darbar in Jebel Ali and by making the locality a multi-religious corridor in Dubai. The temple is an expansion of the Sindhi Guru Darbar Temple in Souq Baniyas, Bur Dubai, one of the most magnificent Hindu temples in the United Arab Emirates, open since the 1950s.
The 25,000 square ft. temple will be built at an estimated Dirham 75 million costs: Rs 1,48,86,24,396. And last year in February the temple’s foundation’s stone laying ceremony took place. And once the temple is constructed there will be numerous churches, the Sikh Guru Nanak Darbar and a Hindu temple in the same location.

Raju Shroff, an Indian businessman and one of the Sindhi Guru Darbar Temple’s trustees, announced that the temple’s construction is underway, and the basement of the structure is complete. He also informed that piling, shoring and casting of basements one and two are complete and as per the current work process, the temple will be set till Diwali 2022.
The temple will be home to 11 Hindu deities, and the architecture will have a distinct Arabian look. Shroff also informed that they would give back to the local economy and this construction of the temple will be their way to repay gratitude they have for the UAE leadership for celebrating religious tolerance.
He also added that worshippers could use the space of 4,000 sq ft banquet hall for cultural events, religious gatherings and community get-togethers.
