The second phase of Covid-19 vaccination will begin from February 6 where around 1,92,437 frontline workers have been registered in Odisha. The beneficiaries include 1,57,388 police and security personnel, 25,961 sanitation workers and 9,088 revenue staff.
As per the report, the Covid-19 of the second phase of the frontline workers will be conducted along with the initiative for the healthcare workers. And the first phase of the vaccination process will continue till 10th February. The State Government has asked all the Collectors, Municipal Commissioners, Directors of Capital Hospital and Rourkela Government Hospital to make arrangements for vaccination sites. Other than the health facilities in their respective areas more vaccination sites will be required for the vaccination process.
PK Mohapatra Additional Chief Secretary of Health department stated that the district has already been asked to prepare the micro plan based on the load of beneficiaries to be vaccinated for the successful vaccination drive. The micro-plans are to be submitted to the Director (Family Welfare).
