The British High Commissioner informed that Indians who are fully vaccinated with Covishield or any other UK-approved vaccine will not have to quarantine themselves when they reach Britain from October 11.
According to the reports, British High Commissioner to India Alex Ellis tweeted from the official account – “No quarantine for India travellers to the United Kingdom fully vaccinated with Covishield or another UK-approved vaccine from 11 October. Thanks to the Indian government for close cooperation over last month.”
When the UK ruled mandatory quarantine for Indians and citizens of other nations on October 1 including those vaccinated with UK-approved Covishield, India too imposed mandatory 10-day quarantine for British citizens irrespective of their vaccination status.
