Kandhamal district in Odisha looks forward to brew its own coffee. If the plans fall into place , then this district could be the next coffee destination in the state. The district administration has identified around 1.09 lakh hectare land across six blocks. This move was after Coffee Board of India (ICB) showed interest in expansion of coffee cultivation due to its agro climatic condition. The mapping of the land is already carried out.
