Beginning November 1, the recently closed Similipal National Park will once again be available to visitors. Due to the monsoon, the National Park in the Mayurbhanj region of Odisha was closed to tourists for more than four months. But as of November 1, tourists can now access the sanctuary through the Jashipur and Pithabata gates every day from 6 am to 9 pm.
Additionally, only 25 cars would be permitted admission at the Pithabata gate for tourists between 6 am and 9 am, while a maximum of 35 four-wheelers transporting visitors will be allowed entry at the Jashipur entry point after obtaining the requisite permit. The camp huts and bamboo cottages in Gudugudia, Jamuani, Ramathirtha, and Kumari also allow visitors to spend the night. However, customers must pay in advance to make online reservations for dak bungalows. By going into www.similipal.com and odishatourism.gov.in, they may make online reservations for tickets on a first come, first served basis.
