Q1) Since when did you recognize your talent as an author?
Ans : I guess every person has a story to tell and mine was waiting to be put on paper for quite some time. I have been composing poems since I was in school but finally got down to penning my first novel four years ago.
Q2) You also have interest and engage in Tarot Reading. Give us an insight on how Reiki Healing and Tarot Reading can help people.
Ans : Reiki healing was practiced in ancient India though not under this name. Simply put, it is the power of the mind to heal the body. Physics tells us that energy cannot be created or destroyed but it can be transferred from one form to another. Reiki takes it a step further and initiates energy transfer from one individual to another.
Tarot reading is one of the oldest forms of looking into the future and of trying to find answers to questions. It cannot change the trajectory of events but can forewarn you to a certain extent on what you can or should avoid and what to expect.
Q3) How did you decide the plot for the book “Home Run”. Attach the link of the book here so that the readers can get a grasp of the book.

Ans : At the heart of the novel is every person’s longing for that one place where he/she can be truly at peace and the fact that in most cases human relationships become a casualty of differences in perspectives and misunderstandings rather than anything else.
In all these years I have travelled intensively. Gradually the mannerisms of people around me; in the metro, in restaurants and in airport lines started taking the shape of characters. I placed them in my favourite backdrop…. the mountains, and wove experiences, mostly real ones, around them.

Q4) How did you decide the plot for the book “A Handful of Dew Drops”. Attach the link of the book here so that the readers can get a grasp of the book.

Ans : My anthology has no plot. it is what the title says. a handful of poems in the form of experiences and moments in time. Most of the compositions are inspired from brief visuals and emotional experiences which have stayed with me…..from a tiny plant sending roots into a brick to the death of someone very dear. The most satisfying feedback I get is that the readers can relate with them on a personal level.

Q5) You are also an Educator. Share a piece of advice that would help the youth of today.

Ans : Your foray into the virtual world is unavoidable but do take out time to experience the real world too. Having seen both, I can assure you that nothing can replace a trek in the hills, the sound and sight of a brook which runs onto a road, a good book and quality time spent with your loved ones. And follow your heart. it never misguides!
