What really is education? Education is more than just a piece of paper, a degree. Getting educated at a prestigious institution does not ensure that one is truly educated in the real sense. Education is something which is inculcated in us from the very beginning. The way we are brought up since childhood, the lessons imparted to us by our parents shape our education in the distant future. Whatever we learn at nursery schools is really crucial too. The basic knowledge of alphabets helps us to read and sequentially learn to read and write more complex things. How we perceive the world around us contributes significantly to our education.
Every little thing we witness on the streets matters. Be it a lesson imparted by a simple rickshaw driver, or life as we witness the beggars and homeless people living on the streets, we learn a little bit about life every single day. Education is how we treat people, the way we present ourselves in social scenarios, and the way we read and interpret life. Understanding practical life lessons also entails a big part of education. This knowledge cannot be imparted within the four walls of the room. It has to be experienced.
