Just a couple of days ago, India whitewashed the series against West Indies in both ODI and T20 format. Now India will play 3 T20 and 2 tests against Srilanka which starts from tomorrow. However, just before the start of the series, Team India has got two big setbacks.
It has been reported that star India batsman and allrounder Suryakumar Yadav and Deepak Chahar has been ruled out of the entire T20 series. While Deepak Chahar did get a hamstring injury during the third 3T20 match against West Indies, Suryakumar Yadav has got a hairline fracture during the net practice session.
It will interesting to see if Team India backs Ruturaj Gaikwad at the top and Rohit plays at No 4 for the entire series or Sanju comes in the side and plays at No 4 with Ishan and Rohit opening the innings.
