Tensions are running high in the country over the US presidential election. Allegations of election results have been circulating in the country. President Trump has accused the election of irregularities. Trump supporters in front of the White House and the Capitol building are seen protesting. There were also reports of clashes with police in both places. A curfew has been imposed by the local administration in Washington DC to bring the situation under control. There are even reports of four protesters being killed in a shooting at the site.

In addition, Trump supporters have thrown some chemicals at police. Many policemen were injured. Police also apply to tear gas to respond to it. In the midst of all this, President Donald Trump has called on his supporters to maintain peace. A White House spokesman said the National Guard and Central Security Forces had been dispatched to Trump’s residence. The Capitol building has been closed for security reasons.

Newly-elected President Joe Biden has called on Trump to uphold the constitution. Violence in capitol buildings is not right. This is treason. Kamala Harris also asked Trump to explain to his supporters. Twitter, on the other hand, locked Trump’s account for 12 hours.
