Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik laid the foundation stone of IFFCOs most ambitious project of producing sulfuric acid having minimal emission for use in DAP/NPK fertilizers.
According to the officials, this is another feature to IFFCOs and it also aimed to minimise the import of raw chemical and waste heat-based energy to reduce the burden on the power consumption sector which alternatively helps to climate change for putting carbon emission under control.
The officials further stated that this is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2023. Mr.US Awasti(MD-IFFCO) thanked the Honourable Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for help in setting up this much-awaited plant for fulfilling their commitment towards the farmers of the country.
Mr K.J Patel who is the unit head – IFFCO, Paradip has personally taken care of its smooth and benevolent foundation activities to mark a day to be remembered. He also extended his thanks to all of his team of the Paradip unit for their efforts and commitments in doing so successfully. He also admired the State Government for its activeness in promoting industries for the largest interest of the societies and its economical avenues.
