Dark feminine energy

Goddess Adishakti is considered to be the source of all energy and light in the universe. Her power is divine and positive, full of life and light. However, this divine energy can turn out to be negative sometimes as well. Dark feminine goddesses do exist. They are highly underrated, or either talked about less. Goddess Matangi, the tantric form of Goddess Saraswati, is one of the highly regarded goddesses in the Tantric principle. The worship of Goddess Matangi is highly strenuous, and follows certain strict rules and ways of worship. Her dark green hue is a clear indicator of her dark feminine power.
When Goddess Parvati was enraged by the menace of the demon Rakta Beej, she assumed a massive form – a form so dark and scary, that even the Gods shivered in fear . Her snow-white skin turned dark, resembling night, her hair flowing freely and her body being uncovered, instead being covered by a garland of skeletons. Severing the demon’s head, she devoured his blood, thus finally killing him. However, her rage did not subside immediately. She kept on severing the head of whoever came her way. Goddess Kali represents the inner strength within each and every woman, the ferocious rage is Divine.
