Dr. Bijaya Kumar Mishra Felicitated at Metabolic Horizon Conclave 2025 in Bhubaneswar

BHUBANESWAR: Renowned medical professional and researcher Dr. Bijaya Kumar Mishra, Scientist D at ICMR–Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC), Bhubaneswar, was felicitated at the Metabolic Horizon Conclave 2025 for his outstanding and lifelong contributions to the fields of medicine, medical education, clinical excellence, and public health advocacy.

The felicitation took place during the inaugural ceremony of the conclave, held at the Mayfair Convention Centre, Bhubaneswar. Organized by the BN Research Foundation, the event brought together leading clinicians, researchers, and health policymakers to discuss advances in metabolic health and disease management.

Dr. Mishra was recognized for his unwavering dedication spanning decades, his commitment to ethical medical practice, and his significant role in mentoring younger generations of healthcare professionals. His efforts in reaching underserved communities through public health outreach, medical education, and compassionate service were highlighted as a gold standard in healthcare.

The event was graced by Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, who served as Chief Guest, and Sj Manmohan Samal, State President of BJP, Odisha, as Guest of Honour. The organizing committee—led by Dr. Abhay Kumar Sahoo (Organizing Chairman), Dr. Ritesh Kumar Agrawala (Organizing Secretary), Dr. Arun Choudhary (Scientific Chairman), and Dr. S.S. Mangaraj (Scientific Secretary)—expressed deep appreciation for Dr. Mishra’s impactful contributions.
