Under his dynamic leadership, Arundhati Jewellers has seen tremendous growth from its humble beginnings of 5 dedicated staff to now employing more than 1000 passionate staff members. This has greatly contributed to the creation of numerous employment opportunities in Odisha.
“Our customer base has grown from 10 thousand to a staggering 10 million portfolio, with our operational area expanding from a mere 150 sq ft to over 75 thousand sq ft. We have progressed from being a single store to becoming the largest jewellery chain store in the state, with a presence in seven major locations across Odisha, including Bhawanipatna, Sambalpur, Bhubaneswar, Bargarh, Berhampur, Rourkela, and upcoming cities such as Puri, Cuttack, Anugul, Baleswar, Baripada, and Bhadrak”, said he.
Now, the fact that Arundhati is adding one new customer every two minutes is a testament to the brand’s popularity and acceptance in the state.
“My engineering degree has aided me immensely in realizing my imaginative ideas with the use of modern-day technology. I am truly passionate about our first-generation profession and have always embraced the hurdles and challenges that came my way with a positive outlook, which has now become my strength. My focus on continuous learning and the implementation of action plans has enabled me to build long-lasting relationships with our customers, making “Arundhati” their favourite jewellery destination”, he added.

Q1.What do you think about the last full-fledged union budget 2023-24 going to carry out in the jewelry sector in India?
As Gems and Jewelry industry is expecting a cut on custom duty to encourage them who works completely in a legitimate way in this industries ,fact is not also to provide gold to consumer on lower price but also is to discourage the parallel gray market which is undoubtedly a big hurdles for our economy’s growth, again increased on silver is directly affect to low end consumer. However, 5 % reduction on custom duty for lab grown diamond will encourage buyers to get diamond in a cheaper rate. LGD has the potential to generate more employment and increase export potential.
Q2. Your brand Arundhati jewelry has earned its reputation by bringing innovative art forms of various products. What will you say about your unique pattern of your work pieces?
We value our customer as the “King”. We take keen interest of their preferences for product and services. Thus, whenever we select any exclusive gold / diamond / platinum jewelry pattern, we always keep our customers preference and expectations in our mind, so every unique collection is inspired by our Art, Heritage, Sculptures in the jewelry . Our jewelry always priorities the occasion and celebration of the customers, that is helping our Brand “Arundhati” as customers most preferable jewelry destination in Odisha.
Recently, we had launched Arka collection which symbolizes “My culture My pride” inspired by Arka Khetra Konark. People of Odisha has appreciate and encouraged us a lot for this uniqueness in creativity.
Q3. Featuring Bandhkala through your jewelries, speak about your brand values of Arundhati Jewelry, What are your thoughts on this?
Introduction of “Bandhakala” in Brand Arundhati was a proud moment for us. Because, with this initiative we know that we are going to bring a new dimension for our Artisan who are the creator of Art, it will have a huge impact in future to strengthen the Artisan community interest of Odisha. With the proper modernized product and marketing strategy, they will get their well-deserved recognition not only in Odisha but also in national & international level gradually. We are very sure that they will get well deserved remuneration for their hard work & unique creative patterns.
Q4. Do you think the time has come as a state of Odisha s progressing rapidly in all fronts that the value of art and the artisans are being kept best secret for the rest of the country ?
Always distinctiveness in creativity has it’s own stand amongst the people. I believe Odisha’s each & every art or creation made by our artisans has it’s own exclusiveness which is truly inspired by it’s rich heritage & culture. We can take the example of uniqueness of filigree work or the love for Sambalpuri sarees nationally & internationally which will definitely keep Odisha ahead from the rest of the country. I strongly admire our artisan groups passion , hard work and always divergent thinking to introduce something new is our secret for the progressive Odisha.
Q5.It is widely believed you have shown top- class leadership as the Managing Director of Arundhati Jewelry Brand. What’s your secret mantra of success story?
I just want to say “Make your passion as your profession” Hard work, Honesty, Determination and Dedication for a long term goal is the only successful mantra.
