An engineering student was stabbed by a betrayed lover in broad daylight on Tuesday at Pratap Nagari, within the Sadar police limits in Cuttack, badly injuring her.According to reports, the girl got off the bus after returning from college and started heading toward her house. After the girl rejected his proposal of marriage, the young man knifed her.
The girl was stabbed in her hand and thigh, badly injuring her. Locals took her to the Mahidharpada community hospital, where she was given first aid care.
