Food blogging has become one of the most trendiest thing to do with the invent and popularization of social media, and many are engaging themselves in food blogging, similarly Akanksha, a 19 year old girl currently residing in Dehradun, India loves to travel and explore various places for interesting stories and munching on delicious food. Travelling and exploring the depth is more than a passion for her. She runs a food blog, Interview Times had a detailed discussion with her, below are the excerpts,

Q1- What motivated you to start your own food blog?
ANSWER: I was such a kid in my school days who was never ever been too stage. I always wanted to but I didn’t have that much of confidence because I do think other people are doing better. So once after completing my 10th I started cross questioning myself dude are you doing something else than regular studies? I don’t know what actually happened to me that I need some hobby to put in time there and make it count. So by the end of class 11th I started writing a lot of things (poems and all) on my personal account. And after that I realized that food is something which always makes me happy and I want to do something around it. Thus I started this foodieeesoul which earlier use to go by some other name.
Q2- What techniques and strategies do you use to reach out to more audience?
ANSWER: Since I never started this page to be influencers. So when I started I was just going with the flow. I never focused on number of followers. My only strategy I use to follow till date is consistency. I m very much regular with my content. And due to my consistency and luck I got my first collaboration with 18 days, when I took this page little seriously.

Q3- Do you love cooking? What are your favorite dishes and why?
ANSWER: Yes I love cooking. I started cooking when I was 12 or less than that. And I love experimenting with food Coming to the dishes I love , I am a rajma chawal lover I really love the twist by Rosted Masalas along with onion n green chutney . Else than this I love South Indian, pav bhaji and a lot more things the list is endless.
Q4- What are the challenges you face during blogging?
ANSWER: Blogging has its own vast definition and also when it comes to a food bloggers people take them for granted by saying ” free ka khate he” and so on. But actually it really takes a lot of motivation if you are providing content regularly. Today everyone is using media so there will be people who will try to disturb your mental peace by any mean. So you need to be head strong. Till last year these things actually use to bother me but now it’s absolutely fine. Secondly algorithm keeps on changing and maintaining that insight and content quality is the key. And today there are so many ways to get fake likes, comments, followers so sometime I do feel bad seeing low number of likes etc.
Q5- How do you overcome the challenges you face during blogging?
ANSWER: When it comes to facing negativity to social media platform always remember you are the part of this media as the other one is. So use your place in such a productive Manner to make a good connection with the audience read that support from the audience will always help you to overcome all your stupid i.e. negative thoughts. And when you are thinking you have low likes, low comments, low followers though u are working hard than always remember no matters what the number of likes is actually depicting on others photo (if they are from wrong mean) you actually inculcate something within yourself as a human and the qualities n experience u are gaining right now will actually help you in a long run.

Q6- What sort of advice you would like to give to those people who wants to become food bloggr like you?
ANSWER: First and foremost thing is if you want to be food blogger then always remember you need to love food, it’s not a time pass you are doing. And when your mind agrees that you need to do food blogging then just start. Start investing your money on street food first to create content. I mention street food because this will give you a good idea of your surroundings also while you to review any outlet always be genuine with your review. Try to also connect with people who are actually running the stall, outlet, cafe or whatever.
Q7- How much time do you spend weekly for your blogs?
ANSWER: On an average I do spend 2-3 hours regularly on my blog. So weekly I do spend max to max 21 hours.

Q8- What are your future plans?
ANSWER: Coming to the future plans I really want to take it forward because it’s doing good for me. I want to explore more platforms. I started my YouTube channel as well. where so I am hoping to put more content in regular intervals. Today the audience is way too much into watching videos rather than reading. Else than this I am trying to get some good collaboration and also giving the best of the content to my audience and gaining more knowledge about food industry.
