Violence between the Indian Army and Chinese forces in the Galwan valley last year has soured clash between the two countries. The two countries have repeatedly discussed border disputes, but no agreement has been reached. In the meantime, the Indian Army is planning to take action against the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
As the Chinese military often infiltrates the Indian border, the Indian military is preparing to keep a close eye on it. India plans to make drone, high surveillance cameras, sensors and electronic weapons more efficient.
India is also planning to buy advanced switch drones. Since the LAC has a range of about 778 km, it is not possible to monitor it continuously. As a result, India has entered into a Rs 140 crore deal with an Israeli company. The deal has been signed by India to buy switch drones. With the arrival of these drones, there will be no problem monitoring the border at the strategic level.
Notably, on June 15 last year, the Chinese army entered the Indian border in the Galwan Valley of eastern Ladakh and launched an attack on the Indian Army. Twenty Indian soldiers were killed in what became known as the Cold War. In addition, more than 40 Chinese troops were killed. However, no details were released from China on how many chinese troops were killed.
