The humanitarian arm of Jindal Steel & Power, the Jindal Foundation, commemorated the Seva Divas countrywide in honor of Shallu Jindal, the organization’s chairman and a well-known philanthropist, social activist, and Kuchipudi dancer. On this day, the Jindal Foundation reaffirmed its goal of creating an inclusive India where the socially and economically marginalized may lead fulfilling lives with dignity. To commemorate the occasion, various social programs were organized at ground zero by all of the Jindal Foundation’s institutions and units nationwide. These programs embodied Shallu Jindal’s commitment to empowering communities, creating opportunities for an equitable society, attending to the needs of the underprivileged and socially vulnerable, and ensuring comprehensive social upliftment.
Expressing her gratitude to the community service partners through an inspiring message, Shallu Jindal said, “I am truly grateful for your kind wishes and the thoughtful service activities in observation of my birthday. Your support strengthens my resolve to work even harder for the betterment of society. Together, we can make a positive impact and bring smiles to those in need.”
The Jindal Foundation provided dietary assistance, medical camps, and veterinary care to elderly patients in hospitals, children in children’s homes, and patients in Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, and other regions of India. Thousands of plants were planted by community volunteers, OP Jindal University students, and eco leaders to help restore the ecology. The Jindal Foundation gave blankets and mosquito nets to the less fortunate. In Chhattisgarh, the OP Jindal Hospitals reaffirmed its mission to reach the unreachable by offering medical care through a number of camps held in senior citizen homes, orphanages, and other shelter houses.
