Following Sri Lanka, Vietnam, and Thailand in recent months, Malaysia is now the fourth nation to provide Indian people admission without a visa.As per Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia has declared that, as of December 1, entry visa restrictions for visitors from China and India will no longer be in place.Anwar announced during his speech at the People’s Justice Party’s annual convention in Putrajaya that, after passing security checks, citizens of China and India would be permitted entry for a maximum of 30 days without a visa.
Through increased traveller spending and arrivals, this programme seeks to assist Malaysia’s economic expansion. Anwar had earlier disclosed his intentions to improve visa procedures for travellers and investors in particular, with an emphasis on drawing in visitors from China and India, for the upcoming year.China recently announced that nationals of six nations, including Malaysia, will be able to enter the country for up to 15 days on December 1 through November 30 of the following year, for family, business, and pleasure travel, without a visa.To help the tourism industry in Vietnam recover, the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism suggested short-term visa waivers for important markets like China and India. Currently, citizens of various European nations are able to travel to Vietnam without a visa.
