In an effort to expedite hiring and attract new talent to the state government, the Odisha Cabinet on Monday approved changes to the Combined Graduate Level Recruitment Examination for Group-B and Group-C Specialist Posts and Services Rules, 2022. Previously, 29 positions were included in Schedule I of the Recruitment Rules. Four current positions (Sl. Nos. 10, 14, 15, and 17) have been eliminated with the most recent revision, while 14 new positions have been introduced. The action was taken in accordance with Rule 3 of the Recruitment Rules.
With the amended list of qualified positions, the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) would be able to administer the Combined Recruitment Examination.
