BHUBANESWAR: To bolster governance and streamline the implementation of government schemes, the Odisha government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, is set to hold its first District Collectors’ Conference. The two-day event, beginning today at 9:00 am at the Lok Seva Bhavan Convention Centre, marks a crucial step in enhancing administrative efficiency and ensuring a people-centric approach.
The conference will bring together all district collectors, Superintendents of Police, and senior officials from across the state. With a focus on the effective execution of both central and state government schemes, the event aims to address the needs of Odisha’s most marginalized communities.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja will set the tone of the conference by providing detailed guidelines for the attendees at the outset of the meeting. Anu Garg, Development Commissioner, will deliver the welcome address.
In his address, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi is expected to outline the key priorities of his administration.
