Police Register Trafficking Case Against Fraudster Hansita Abhilipsa

Fraudster Hansita Abhilipsa is the subject of yet another complaint filed by the Commissionerate Police for allegedly trafficking young girls to influential individuals, such as politicians, businesspeople, and bureaucrats. On the basis of a complaint filed by Manash Kumar Swain, a Special Crime Unit officer who is looking into the matter, the Infocity Police filed a new case against Hansita Abhilipsa under Sections 120-B of IPC 1860, 67 of the Information Technology Act 2000, and Section 5 of the Immortal Traffic (Prevention) Act, 1956.

After conducting an investigation and discovering images and videos of other girls, including some Russians, on Hansita Abhilipsa’s laptop and cell phones, Swain filed the complaint. Police discovered audio recordings of Hansita’s WhatsApp conversations with many girls over the course of the inquiry. According to police, she trafficked children from a number of Indian cities, and Russia helped to acquire political power or economic partnerships. Hansita reportedly sent females to powerful individuals in an attempt to appease her prospective targets, get a business, or have a tender approved in her favor.

She was accused by the Infocity Police of providing fraudulent information in her passport, and they informed the Bhubaneswar JMFC-2 court of this earlier on January 17. It should be mentioned that on December 30, 2024, Hansita Abhilipsa and Anil Kumar Mohanty were taken into custody by the Infocity police on suspicion of deceiving many individuals by pretending to be the daughter and son-in-law of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s principal secretary, PK Mishra.
