The Puri Shree Jagannath Temple’s “Ratna Bhandar” key missing case was given notice by the Orissa High Court to the Odisha government today. In response to a plea from Dilip Baral of Puri asking the High Court to have the Justice Raghubir Das Commission of Enquiry’s findings made public, the Chief Secretary and the Law Secretary were served with summons to respond.
According to the petitioner, the State administration disregarded the Commission of Enquiry Act. In spite of the Justice Raghubir Das Commission of Enquiry’s report being submitted to the Law Department after completing an investigation into the missing Ratna Bhandar key case, Baral claims in his appeal that the government has not made it available to the public.
The High Court sent notifications to the opposing parties while allowing the petition. The next hearing on the subject will take place on July 10 since the High Court has set that date.
